Installation Instructions
- Do not compress - Batts must retain their original thickness after installation for maximum performance.
- Avoid gaps - Ensure batts are butted firmly to each other, Joists or Studs. Significant loss of performance will result even from small gaps. Gaps can be filled with offcut material.
- Keep dry - Performance will be severely inhibited if the batts are installed wet.
CAUTION: Electric cables & equipment partially or completely surrounded with bulk thermal insulation may overheat & fail. This applies to wiring installed prior to 1989. Read the following instructions carefully.
WARNING: Care should be taken not to cover Electrical cables - Leave the recommended gap around Downlight fittings ( refer to AS3000 Clause 4.5.2.3 ) Enviro-Duct premium grade High Temperature Downlight covers are recommended for recessed halogen downlights due to the excessive heat produced . Install using guidelines set down in AS3000 Clause 4.5.2.3 - Leave 100mm space between Batts and Exhaust fans or hot flues.
DANGER - Consult a licensed electrician to ensure installation is safe.
