The Installation Process

At ESNI our professional tradesmen and staff will install the Cellulose Fibre via the roof to 95-100mm in depth and 30-50kg per m3 in weight providing you with a R3.0+ rating, giving you an insulation solution above recommended levels. All roof types are catered for and handled with care and expertise including: difficult, raked, exposed beam and standard.

ESNI Cellulose fibre can also be installed at varying depths enabling it to provide a wide range of R-values across an even wider scope of applications that any other insulation product on the market.

Moisture Absorption of Cellulose Fibre

ESNI Cellulose Fibre has the capacity to absorb and de-absorb moisture more readily than any other insulation on today’s market. The determination of moisture absorption by cellulose fibre is one of the requirements of AS/NZ 4859.1, which specifies that materials shall have moisture absorption percentage of less than 20%.

ESNI Cellulose Fibre has a moisture absorption percentage of 8.2%, therefore the product has passed the requirements of AS/NZ 4859.1 more than adequately.

Vermin Resistant

ESNI Cellulose Fibre it is treated with two non- irritant, non-toxic, safe to handle and allergy free agents; Borax and Boric acid. Both substances have the toxicity of common table salt and can be found in many common household products.

The combination of Borax and Boric Acid prevent vermin and insects breeding in the product. When insects or vermin come in contact with the treated cellulose fibre, the Borax and Boric acid collect on their bodies and causes dehydration completely discouraging them from going near the product. The treatment is one that will last for many lifetimes and is fully guaranteed for the life of the structure.

Corrosiveness

The Boric acid and Borax that is used in ESNI Cellulose Fibre insulation as a fire retardant has no corrosive properties and actually protects ferrous metals against oxidization and is a proven corrosion inhibiter.
